Let me welcome you in the capital of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on the occasion of the 10th industrial exhibition.
The jubilee exhibition “Expo-Russia Jordan 2011” is the largest Russian economic forum both in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the entire Near East.
The very fact of regular demonstration of achievements of the Russian economy in Jordan evidences firm aspiration of our countries towards further rapprochement in various areas of economics. According to the Russian President D.A. Medvedev, such aspiration “is based on mutual sympathy, on the wish to work jointly.”
During the official meeting of the President of the Russian Federation D.A. Medvedev and His Majesty King Abdullah the Second in January in Amman a number of perspective projects were identified for joint implementation.
“Expo-Russia Jordan 2011” exhibition is a logical continuation of the dialogue between the governments of Jordan and Russia in trade and economic cooperation; it serves the interests of business exchange extension and practical results achievement in various areas of relations between the two states.
I wish that the exhibition is a success for participants and guests and that it will bring results for business relations. Best of luck in goals achievement.
